The assessment process in Teamsy includes providing performance-related feedback and summarizing overall reviews. This structured approach ensures consistency and fairness in performance evaluations.

Once Assessment cycle is activated (see Settings/Assessment Cycles for more about setting up Assessment cycles), all employees and managers who are included in the assessment cycle will get an email notification. During an active assessment cycle, managers are prompted to answer performance-related questions, provide a summary, and offer an overall performance review for each employee within determined timeframe.

Overall Performance Review Categories

  • Below Expectations: This initial category is for those whose performance has not met the established benchmarks. It indicates a significant gap between expected and actual performance, highlighting a need for immediate attention and corrective action.

  • Needs Improvement: Positioned just above 'Below Expectations,' this category acknowledges that while performance is below the set standards, it is not significantly so. Individuals in this group are likely on the cusp of meeting expectations and may require specific guidance or additional resources to enhance their performance.

  • Meets Expectations: This central category represents the benchmark of satisfactory performance. Employees falling into this group are successfully achieving their role's requirements and contributing effectively to their team and organizational goals.

  • Above Expectations: This category is for employees who surpass the standard performance expectations. Their contributions are notable and demonstrate a higher level of skill, efficiency, or productivity, indicating a strong alignment with organizational objectives and values.

  • Far Exceeds Expectations: Reserved for the top performers, this category highlights exceptional performance that significantly surpasses what is expected. Employees in this group demonstrate extraordinary achievement, innovation, or leadership that contributes to the organization's success in a meaningful way.

On the assessment page, next to the assessment questions, managers will see general stats for the employee they are reviewing. These include competencies stats, goals and their progress and latest feedbacks. Information showed are there to help during the review process, as a way to easily see what someone has been working on, making it easier to fill out the review.

Accessing Detailed Assessments

  • Once assessments are completed, click on any assessment to access its detailed page, where you can view the manager's answers, summary and the overall performance review of the employee.
